Kurhaus Wiesbaden
I also visited the Kurhaus, now hosting a casino and a restaurant. Beyond the Kurhaus is this lush green park with a fountain right in the centre. I love walking, it is one of my favourite pastimes, in Mumbai, however one cannot walk much due to the lack of open spaces and infrastructure, which really made me enjoy and appreciate this wonderful opportunity. I was happy to give my legs some serious exercise and I never tired of walking and looking around.
During my first week at Text-Aktion, we had a bank holiday, so therefore I luckily got an extra day off and my ever charming colleague Miriam decided to show me around Frankfurt. I took the train from Wiesbaden to Frankfurt. Initially, I got lost for a bit as I got off at Frankfurt airport station instead of the city station, But then Miriam realised I was at the wrong station and guided me to the city station. I didn’t really know what to expect in Frankfurt, but I knew I was in good hands. I got off at a massive train station, something like a Harry Potter movie. The only difference is I could not walk through the walls to another place.
