“Auf Wiedersehen Germany, Namaste India!!!”
There is so much that I saw and experienced that I could go on and on, however, my stay comes to an end and I feel sad to say goodbye to my friends here. Being here in Wiesbaden has been an exhilarating time for me; I have seen stunning places, met wonderful people and everyone has been warm and extremely friendly. I feel that I have made the most of my time while in Wiesbaden. Being in a different environment does give that alternative perspective that everyone says you’ll get being abroad. Angelika asked me what has been the most intense learning experience in Germany; I would have to say it is the culture and lifestyle of the country and also meeting people who are quite unlike me. I did realise that even though there are many cultural and social differences, the people are more alike than different in the way they think, the problems they face and how they overcome those problems.
I could so easily become addicted to the many fascinating aspects of this amazing country, the fantastic infrastructure, clean environment, fine standard of living; I don’t want to look at it as my great experience coming to an end, but the start of using what I’ve learned to make the most of my work in India, too. However, this is the end of my travel for now, until next time I find myself in this part of the world (hopefully soon). A big thank you to everyone for being so kind and wonderful and making me feel so welcome, esp. Miriam who has been a great friend, and a bigger thank you to Beate, Angelika and Birgit for making a part of my dream come true.
Auf Wiedersehen Germany, Namaste India!!!
